Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP) is a new financing program offered by certain municipalities in Alberta, providing you with access to competitive financing for energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades for your home or business, which will help lower your energy bill. Unlike other financing programs, you can repay it through your regular property tax bill and transfer the payments over to the new property owner should you decide to sell.

Are you interested in applying? Calgary, Athabasca, Canmore, Leduc and Rocky Mountain House are now accepting Pre-Qualification submissions  for CEIP.

The Canada Greener Homes Initiative is another government financing program offering interest-free loans to help cover the costs of significant home retrofits recommended by an energy advisor. Learn more about the Canada Greener Homes Grant and Loan.
