How do I change the name on my Direct Energy account?

How will I be billed by Direct Energy?
Bills are generated based on the consumption details we receive from your distributor. Direct Energy will mail an invoice to the mailing address you provided in your enrolment.

Should I inform my bank that I've switched to Direct Energy?
If you are making your payment by telephone for the first time or are setting up your account for pre-authorized debit, please select Direct Energy (Alberta) or Direct Energy Essential Services from the list of payees.
Who do I call if there is an error on my bill?
Please call our Customer Care line at 1-866-374-6299.
Will my bill look different if I switch to Direct Energy?
If you are switching from Direct Energy Regulated Services, your bill will be blue instead of pink. If you are switching from another provider, your bill will now come from Direct Energy.
